Find answers to common questions about using the Cogniscan portal.
How do I log in to the clinician portal?
Navigate to the main page. If you are not logged in, you will see the login screen. Enter your registered email and password. If it's your first time using that email, an account will be created for you automatically upon your first sign-in attempt.
How do I add a new patient?
Once logged in to the Clinician Dashboard, click the "+ Add Patient" button. A form will appear where you can enter the patient's details. Click "Save Patient" to add them to your database.
How do I create and send an assessment?
From the Clinician Dashboard, click on a patient to view their details. On the Patient Details screen, click the "New Assessment" button. Select the type of assessment you wish to administer. A unique link will be generated. Copy this link and send it to your patient to complete the assessment.
How do I view assessment results?
In the Patient Details screen, you will see a list of assessments under "Assessment History". For any completed assessment, click the "View Results" button to see a detailed breakdown with charts and scores.
How do I compare results over time?
When you view the results of an assessment, if there is more than one completed assessment of the same type for that patient, a "Session History Comparison" section will automatically appear. This section includes line charts tracking individual symptom progress and a radar chart comparing the last five sessions.
How do I add or edit clinician notes?
On the Patient Details screen, you will find a "Clinician Notes" section. Click the "Add Notes" or "Edit Notes" button to open a text editor. After making your changes, click "Save Notes".
How do I delete an assessment?
On the Patient Details screen, in the "Assessment History" list, click the trash can icon next to the assessment you wish to remove. You will be asked to confirm the deletion. This action cannot be undone.
How do I delete a patient?
On the Patient Details screen, click the "Delete Patient" button. You will be asked to confirm this action. Deleting a patient will also permanently remove all of their associated assessments and data. This action cannot be undone.
How do I export data?
On the Assessment Results screen, there is an "Export to TDT" button. Clicking this will download a tab-delimited text file (.tdt) containing the patient's information, scores, and individual answers for that assessment, suitable for import into other data analysis software.
